MIAMI (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Cardi B, AKA Belcalis Almanzar, continued her successful year, after she won a slew of honors at this year’s BET Awards, taking home trophies for Single of the Year, Best New Hip-Hop Artist and MVP of the Year and Hustler of the Year.

She was nominated in nine different categories and won five of them over the course of the night behind her smash hit “Bodak Yellow.”

Kendrick Lamar took home for trophies, including Best Hip-Hop Video and Hot Ticket Performer, while DJ Khalad picked up wins for DJ of the Year and Best Duo/Group.

The 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards ceremony took place at the Fillmore in Miami on October 6, and were hosted by hosted by DJ Khaled.
