NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — American singer-songwriter announced that she would be performing a farewell concert series to mark her retirement from the live touring industry.
Baker announced last year that she was planning to retire after a career spanning 30 years, and while there is no “new music or tour ahead of her” she was planning a concert series to say farewell to her fans.

While the full itinerary for the run has not been announced, the series is set to kick off in March, according to a Tweet by Baker on New Year’s Day.
The Grammy Award-winning Baker started her career with the funk band Chapter 8, but has gone on to a successful solo career. Over the course of her professional career, Baker has won eight Grammy awards and been nominated 17 times, most recently in 2013 for her single “Lately” which earned her a nod from the RIAA for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
