RED BANK, N.J. (CelebrityAccess) The remaining members of The Smithereens announced Jan. 10 that tomorrow night, Jan. 13, at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, N.J., a tribute to late singer Pat DiNizio will take place and be streamed live on the internet.

“Time and Time Again: A Celebration of Pat DiNizio” is expected to launch 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST. Guests to join the founding members – Jim Babjak, Dennis Diken, and Mike Mesaros – along with Severo Jornacion who has been with the band since 2006 include Steven Van Zandt, Patty Smyth and Marshall Crenshaw. Patty Smyth & Scandal open the show at 8 p.m.

More information regarding the live stream will be available at http://www.countbasietheatre.org/ . Online viewers will be encouraged to contribute to the Pat DiNizio Musical Performance Scholarship.

DiNizio, 62, died Dec. 12 of ailments after a series of falls. The singer was known for co-writing and singing a series of hits for the band throughout the 1980s and 90s like “A Girl Like You”  and “Behind the Wall of Sleep” but the band’s signature sound was still vibrant as late as 2011 when it released an album of the same name – 2011.

The band is asking its fans to get out the word about the tribute show. Other guest performers include Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms, Freedy Johnston, Richard Barone of The Bongos, Bebe Buell, Peter Zaremba of The Fleshtones, Keith Streng of The Fleshtones, The Grip Weeds, Graham Maby, Kenny Margolis, Soraia, Ted Leo, Ed Stasium, Andy Burton, Kenny Howes, and Jim Monaghan.
