LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Ticketmaster on Tuesday announced that it has signed an exclusive deal with the producers of BBC Music’s The Biggest Weekend to be the exclusive ticketing provider for all four locations of the festival.
The music festival will take place on four sites, in all four nations that make up the UK, — Swansea (Wales), Conventry (England), Perth (Scotland) and Belfast (Northern Ireland) over four days across the late May bank holiday weekend from May 25-28th.
Artist confirmed for the fest’s lineups include Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Snow Patrol, Beck, Billy Ocean, Manic Street Preachers and many more
“Arguably the biggest event of 2018, BBC Music’s The Biggest Weekend will bring the world’s top artists to audiences across the UK. We are incredibly proud that Ticketmaster’s experience in facilitating events of this scale has been recognized in such a way, and our teams right across the country look forward to providing fans with a seamless ticketing experience,” Andrew Parsons, Managing Director of Ticketmaster UK, said in a press statement.
Ticketmaster UK noted that it was also the only ticketing agency in the UK with multiple operation centers, and features offices in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast that will support the festival dates.
Tickets for the BBC’s Biggest Weekend go on sale on Feb. 12th.
