Rob Light Joins We Are Family Foundation Board Of Directors

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The We Are Family Foundation announced that veteran agent and CAA’s head of music Rob Light has joined the organization’s board of directors.

He sits on a number of charity boards – Musicares, Southern Ground Foundation, Tiger Woods Foundation and City of Hope Cancer Research Hospital. We Are Family Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded by legendary musician Nile Rodgers in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001 with the goal of promoting diversity and mentoring young people who are positively changing the world.

“I have long believed in the power of music to bring people together for the greater good,” said Light. “The terrific work of the We Are Family Foundation is a shining example of this and I am proud to work alongside Nile, Nancy, and the entire organization to help amplify their efforts.”

Light is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communication with a degree in Film and Television. Married, with five children, he serves on the Board of Trustees for Syracuse University and is a board member for The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and City of Hope Cancer Research Hospital, Communities in Schools, and The Tiger Woods Foundation.
