HERMISTON, Ore. (CelebrityAccess) — The city of Hermiston and Umatilla County have selected VenuWorks to oversee the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC) in Hermiston, Oregon.
The EOTEC includes a 25,500 sq. foot exhibit hall that can be configured as a 1450-capacity theater, and a stadium-style rodeo arena. EOTEC serves as host to the Umatilla County Fair and Farm City Pro Rodeo along with a diverse range of other events from trade shows to equestrian functions.
“VenuWorks will be a great fit for EOTEC and for the Hermiston community. We are very pleased to welcome VenuWorks as the management firm for the facility,” stated city manager Byron Smith.
To oversee the EOTEC on behalf of VenuWorks, the company has appointed Al Davis to serve as general manager at the venue. Davis comes to VenuWorks from Manhattan, Kansas where he served as President and CEO for Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership.
