DALLAS (CelebrityAccess) Dallas police are looking for four guitars and a harp belonging to Nils Lofgren that were stolen before a Friday night performance.

Somebody broke into Lofgren’s van outside a Holiday Inn between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, according to investigators. His tour manager, Bob Weber, apparently discovered the break-in Friday morning when he went to the parking lot to load the van. The loss was estimated at around $10,000.

Lofgren, known to many as the guitarist for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, said he was devastated by the robbery but proceeded to take “the roof off” at The Kessler, which presented “An Evening with Nils Lofgren – Solo Acoustic.”

Lofgren and his wife tweeted out photos of security footage that allegedly show the culprit.

As for the replacement guitars, Lofgren called upon a Dallas friend named Dr. Howard Kweller, who drummed in a band with Lofgren when they were in middle school and arrived at the Kessler with his guitars, according to WFAA News.

Lofgren’s first solo album arrived in 1975 and his 45-year, 10-disc retrospective, Face the Music was released in 2014.
