LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Veteran artist managers Paul Geary and Steve Wood have partnered (again) to launch Global Artist Management, a new “full service” artist management company.
The new firm is based in Century City and boasts an initial client roster that includes Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Hoobastank, and upcoming rock band Like A Storm, as well as co-management of the Hollywood Vampires ‘supergroup’ in collaboration with Shep Gordon.
Geary and Wood have been colleagues since the 1980s when Geary was a drummer with the rock band Extreme, with Wood serving as a tour manager for Cinderella. The two later became business colleagues when Wood joined Paul Geary Management in 2002.
Geary’s c.v. also includes stints at Azoff Music Management and the later formation of AGP (Azoff, Geary, Paul Management) where Woods served as director of touring for the company’s roster, which included acts such as Smashing Pumpkins, Creed, Godsmack, and others.
In 2013, Geary left AGP to reform PGM and Wood followed as touring director for the company.
