LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess) – Jon Platt, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Warner/Chappell Music, will be the 2018 recipient of City of Hope’s prestigious Spirit of Life Award this upcoming October in Los Angeles.
City of Hope is a world-renowned independent research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases, and the award honors a philanthropic leader whose work has had a fundamental impact on the music, film or entertainment industries.
Platt will shared the honor with previous recipients including Mo Ostin, Clive Davis, Quincy Jones, Frances W. Preston, Shelli and Irving Azoff, Edgar Bronfman, Jr., Doug Morris, Coran Capshaw, and Sir Lucian Grange.
