The primary difference between TickPick and StubHub is that the company does not charge its buyers any transaction fees. It also utilizes algorithms to monitor data such as price/value ratio for tickets in order to offer value grading so that buyers get a better bang for their buck.
“Our selection by Firefly Music Festival is a big deal for us and festival customers because we offer prices and levels of service that are simply better than the competition,” said TickPick CEO and co-founder Brett Goldberg in a release. “The modern millennial-aged consumer wants transparency and simple mobile transactions. We provide both. We do not charge buyer fees and explicitly state all-in pricing, so there are no surprises. Our users appreciate our approach, which allows them to get the festival, concert, or sports tickets they crave at a great price without any hassles.”
In addition to serving as Firefly Festival’s official secondary ticketing vendor, TickPick will operate both a sponsored activation and a will call booth where attendees can purchase festival passes at face value while on festival grounds.
Firefly Music Festival 2018 is scheduled to take place June 14-17 at Woodlands in Dover, Delaware.
