The Magpie Salute, which brings together Black Crowes duo Rich Robinson and Marc Ford, bassist Sven Pipien (also from the Crowes) along with lead singer John Hogg (Hookah Brown, Moke) Tours 4/17: The Magpie Salute, Rodney Atkins, Neko Case, Carlos Vives, Chris Robinson Brotherhoodand drummer Joe Magistro have announced upcoming dates in support of their yet-to-be-released debut studio album. Six of the shows are with the Gov’t Mule / Avett Brothers co-headlining tour.

Cardenas Marketing Network has announced “Vives Tour USA” with Latin music star Carlos Vives returning to the States for some September arena shows. The dates follow “Vives Tour 201.”



Speaking of Black Crowes alums, Chris Robinson Brotherhood has added to its summer tour dates, including festival appearances.

The album’s second single, “Bad Luck,” came out last week and was dubbed by Rolling Sone as “an indie rock gem.”
