NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) A man was arrested yesterday for breaking into Taylor Swift’s alleged apartment in New York City, according to the NYPD.

“During their investigation, responding officers saw a ladder and a broken window at the location. They found the perpetrator asleep inside the apartment and affected an arrest,” police said in a statement, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Roger Alvarado, 22, of Homestead, Fla., was arrested on charges of stalking in the first degree, burglary, criminal mischief in the third degree and criminal trespassing in the third degree. Alvarado was arrested at the same address Feb. 13 after breaking the front door with a shovel, ET learned.  Swift, who has properties in Beverly Hills, Nashville and Rhode Island, apparently does not live at the property, according to the media outlet and was, instead, lounging somewhere else in the world and posting on Instagram a promotion for her new collaboration with Sugarland, “Babe.”

This reporter heard years ago the most unshocking news ever (around the time of the “Red” tour) that Swift had stalkers, but it was not a public concern until this month when three – now four – different people have been arrested for alleged unseemly behavior.  One man was arrested near the Beverly Hills house wearing a mask and with a knife in his car, according to LAPD.  Another was recently arrested for trespassing on the same property April 8.

Yet another man was arrested recently for robbing a bank then driving to Swift’s Rhode Island home and tossing money over the fence in an effort to impress her.

Swift’s tour kicks off in 17 days.
