MINNEAPOLIS (CelebrityAccess) John Lochen has joined Northstar Artists and will oversee bookings for performing arts centers, casinos and private events for the Northstar roster.
Lochen began his agent career with The Rosebud Agency in 1992, working with as John Lee Hooker, Robert Cray, JJ Cale, Los Lobos, Mavis Staples, Charlie Watts, Booker T. Jones, Allen Toussaint, Albert Collins and many, many others.
Over the course of 20 years with Rosebud, John helped establish and build the early touring success of then emerging artists Ben Harper and Trombone Shorty, among others. In 2012 he joined Monterey International, then Paradigm after their acquisition of Monterey.

Northstar Artists currently represents Ace Frehley and Max Weinberg as well as Rusted Root, BoDeans, The Devon Allman Project, Iris DeMent, Cowboy Mouth, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Laith Al-Saadi, SIMO, Nicholas David and The New Power Generation (NPG).
Lochen’s clients joining Northstar include William Bell, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Take Me To the River featuring Dirty Dozen Brass Band, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Ian Neville, and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux.
