Romeo Santos Announces New Dates For 'Golden' Tour

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Romeo Santos, the self-proclaimed king of Bachata, announced the details of the upcoming second leg of his “Golden Tour.”

Santos kicks off the 18-city North American run on September 15 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and he wraps on October 21st at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

The new round of dates for the tour are produced and co-promoted by Live Nation and follow on the heels of the first segment of the tour, which wrapped in April after a successful run.

The new round of dates includes stops in several markets that were passed over in the previous leg, including Las Vegas, Seattle, Sacramento, and Tampa.

The former lead singer of the American bachata band Aventura, Santos has found success as a solo artist, chalking up seven number one songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart and eleven number ones on the Tropical Songs chart.

His most recent album “Golden” (2017) generated hits with, “Héroe Favorito”, “Imitadora”, “Bella y Sensual”, and “Sobredosis” and features collaborations with Swizz Beatz, Juan Luis Guerra, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Daddy Yankee, Julio Iglesias and Jessie Reyez.

Santos has the distinction of being the first Latin artist to sell out Yankee Stadium when he performed a doubleheader there in 2014.
