TARZANA, CA (CelebrityAccess) – Actor Jackson Odell, who was best known for his role as Ari Caldwell on ABC’s “The Goldbergs,” has passed away at the age of 20.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, he was found unresponsive at a home in Tarzana, Calif. on Friday. A cause of death is not yet known however, no foul play has been suspected.

A statement released by Odell’s family read:

“The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell on Friday. He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world who knew and loved him does as well. We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately. We will not be making any further statements.”

Odell’s other TV credits included roles on “The Fosters,” “Modern Family,” and “iCarly.” He also starred in the 2011 film “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer” alongside Heather Graham, and penned original songs for the soundtrack of the 2018 romantic drama “Forever My Girl.”
