NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CelebrityAccess) – Universal Music Publishing Group Nashville has signed Grammy and ACM-nominated country star Chris Young to a global publishing deal.
Young, who is signed to RCA Records Nashville and has written songs for the likes of Kane Brown, Jackie Lee, and The Shires, has amassed seventeen gold, platinum and multi-platinum-certified records, and 10 chart-toping singles.
Speaking about the deal, Kent Earls, executive vice president and general manager, UMPG Nashville, said: “Chris Young is a publisher’s dream. He’s a gifted songwriter, incredible vocalist and selling out arenas on his current headlining tour. Young, who was recently inducted as a member of the iconic Grand Ole Opry, is currently on the road headling his 55 date Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour.
