LONDON, UK (CelebrityAccess) – Universal Music Publishing announced this week that it has signed a global publishing deal with songwriter Danny Shah.
Shah has written for the likes of David Guetta, Hrvy, Loren Gray, Zak Abel, Oliver Heldens, Sigma, Sigala and Kaiser Chiefs. His most recent credits include two No.1 albums with The Vamps as well as five tracks on Kylie Minogue’s chart-topping Golden. Shah has also appeared as a featured artist on tracks by Oliver Heldens, Basic Tape and Nicky Romero.
“Writing a melody that is unique, interesting and memorable is the most satisfying feeling and genuinely helps me sleep at night,” explained Shah. “I feel very lucky to say I’m living my dream job alongside Universal Music Publishing.”
UMPG UK MD Mike McCormack added: “We are extremely proud to have signed a writer of Danny’s quality and ambition. As soon as you meet Danny, his personality and drive is clear for all to see and it’s no wonder he’s one of the most in-demand writers out there. With over 50 cuts in the last year and no signs of slowing down, Danny is prolific.”
