PHILADELPHIA (CelebrityAccess) –Bill Cosby is being sued for more than $50,000 in unpaid legal fees, according to The Associated Press.
Philadelphia-based law firm Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis filed a civil claim against the 81-year-old comedian Tuesday.
While firm attorney Samuel Silver, who was a member of Cosby’s defense team until last February, is suing for failure to pay legal services rendered, Cosby’s current attorney, Joe P. Green, is arguing the claim is the result of a disagreement over the amount of legal fees charged, AP has reported.
Cosby was convicted in April of three counts of aggravated indecent assault. His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 24.
