MOSCOW (CelebrityAccess) Pyotr Verzilov, a male member of Russian feminist protest group Pussy Riot, has reportedly been hospitalized and in grave condition from a possible poisoning.
Ekho Moskvy radio and online news source Meduza reported that Verzilov was in emergency care late Tuesday, quoting fellow Pussy Riot member Veronika Nikulshina saying his symptoms included losing his eyesight and ability to speak, according to the Associated Press.
Nikulshina said Verzilov was being treated in the toxicology unit of a Moscow hospital.
Pussy Riot members including Nikulshina and Verzilov recently disrupted the World Cup final between France and Croatia, resulting in 15-day jail sentences. They said they were protesting excessive police powers in Russia.
