Valence Media has acquired a “significant minority stake” in Fulwell 73, the Emmy-winning British independent production run by partners Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Gabe Turner, Ben Turner and James Corden, according to Deadline Hollywood. The actual amount appears to be $60 million plus Valence equity.
Fulwell, run by friends since they were schoolmates, produces “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” the show’s biggest hit, Carpool Karaoke plus its Drop The Mic skits, and documentaries like “Class of 92,” “I Am Bolt” and “One Direction 3D: This Is Us.”
Fulwell 73, based in London and Los Angeles, will continue to operate as an independent entity under its current management structure, Deadline said.
