ESTERO, Fla. (CelebrityAccess) The 7,186-seat Germain Arena in Estero, Fla., will soon change its name and be associated with the Hertz Corporation.
The exact date and time of the transition to Hertz Arena has been released but a public meeting on the matter is scheduled Sept. 26, according to the Naples Daily News.
“Establishing strong roots in Southwest Florida has been very important to us since relocating our world headquarters to Estero in 2015,” said Hertz President and CEO Kathryn Marinello in a statement.
Hertz branding is expected to be on the interior and exterior of the building.
The venue, which has Disney on Ice starting tomorrow and hosts Cher Jan. 17, is home to ECHL ice hockey team Florida Everblades, making the references to “Hertz donut” almost irresistible.
