LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Los Angeles police investigated what was described as a possible burglary at the Los Angeles home of R&B queen Rihanna.
According to the Los Angeles Times, police responded to Rihanna’s Hillside Avenue digs at approximately 9:30 p.m. after they received a report of a break-in.
Investigators remianed at the scene until early Wednesday but did not detail what if anything had been taken from the home. Nor did they provide any information about possible suspects, the Times reported.
According to a local CBS News affiliate, no one was home at the time of the alleged break in but the singer’s employees reported the incident after being alerted by an alarm sysstem. An employee told CBS that he boarded up a window that had been smashed in the rear of the residence.
Rihanna’s home has been a popular target for intruders this year. In May, police arrested a man who they alleged climbed a perimeter fence to the property and spent approximately 12 hours inside of the house before he was discovered by Rihanna’s assistant.
