Lil Tay's Life Gets (Unfortunately) Real

(CelebrityAccess) Lil Tay, the 9-year-old known for her fairly disturbing career as a social media rapper, has reemerged, allegedly in her father’s custody.

Lil Tay, who may be actually 11 years old and named Claire, has had a quick and sordid tale as a YouTube star, possibly fueled by her brother, a YouTube promoter who is named Josiah Jenkins and who apparently either has another brother named Jason Tian or there is a lot of confusion as to who is named what. Tay / Claire is known for tossing money around, jumping into expensive cars while calling herself “the youngest flexer of the century” and saying crazy stuff like “This is a message to all y’all broke-ass haters, y’all ain’t doing it like Lil Tay.”

However, her powerful social media platforms were scrubbed but recently her Instagram account was allegedly hacked, with her brother allegedly delivering “death threats” to Tay’s father, Chris Hope. Hope apparently has brought Tay back home and the IG account shows the girl crying, allegedly because of the situation. It also claims Hope has a history of abuse.

Hope, an attorney in Canada, says he has a court order giving him power in legal decisions for Claire and has sent a cease & desist letter to Instagram for the death threats, claiming it can be held legally responsible.

The era has been complicated, including the time when Tay’s mom, Angela Tian, resigned from her real estate job after using her boss’s car for Claire’s infamous video.
