MANCHESTER, UK (CelebrityAccess) — SMG Europe’s flagship Manchester Arena has signed on with Deezer that will see the streaming music service become the official streaming partner for the venue.
As part of the deal, Deezer will curate and create a selection of relevant focused playlists with special content for artists appearing at the arena
These playlists will be available on the Manchester Arena website, accessible via customer emails and throughout social media platforms and will help drive sales and music discovery for artists that may perform at the arena.
The deal will also see Manchester Arena deploy Deezer-sponsored WiFi later in the year, which will enable visitors to include streamed music in their experience.

We are excited to be paving the way for greater connectivity with the installation of a brand new Deezer-sponsored WiFi system, which will be operational this autumn across the whole arena for music fans to enjoy,” said James Allen, GM of Manchester Arena.
The deal follows a similar announcement by the SSE Hydro in Glasgow earlier this week.
