BREMEN, Germany (CelebrityAccess) — CTS Eventim is reporting record-breaking ticket sales for the European tour of German rock legends Rammstein.
According to Eventim, the tour sold more than 800,000 tickets shortly after the start of the onsale with demand significantly exceeding available tickets.
All ten shows in Rammstein’s home turf of Germany sold out within a few hours, with more than one million would-be concert-goers accessing CTS Eventim’s ticket service within the first hour of onsale.
“When a band sells such an outstanding amount of tickets in such a short time, it shows both their exceptional artistic status and the unbroken attraction of live music. We thank Rammstein, Scumeck Sabottka, and MCT for their trust in our work,” said Eventim COO Alexander Ruoff
The tour, which kicks off on May, will see Rammstein on their first-ever stadium run. Organized by their long-time promoter MCT, it will see the band performing 30 concerts in 24 cities and 17 countries.
In order to limit speculation on the secondary market, Rammstein and MCT are partnering with CTS Eventim to individualize tickets in countries where CTS Eventim is the primary ticket seller and in most markets, ticket buyers will be limited in the quantity of tickets they can purchase.
Fans who can’t make the show will be able to return tickets in accordance with the terms and conditions established by MCT via Eventim’s fanSALE secondary market platform.
