BELLARIA IGEA, Rimini (CelebrityAccess) — Long-running independent Italian booking agency Hub Music Factory has completed the acquisition of seaside festival Bay Fest from former owner LP Rock Events.
The festival, which takes place in August in Bellaria Igea-Marina on the Adriatic Riviera, Italy’s most popular seaside tourist resorts, has grown from a one-day event when it launched in 2015 to a three-day affair.
“Hub Music Factory has been curating Bay Fest’s artistic direction ever since the beginning, so its acquisition is a natural fit and it is also the optimal solution to keep the festival growing and expanding”, say Alessandro Fabbro and Tiziana Seregni, the company’s owners.
Hub Entertainment has already announced the initial slate of headliners for the festival when it returns next year, with The Offspring and NOFX leading the bill and more to be announced. The 2019 edition of Bay Fest is scheduled for August 12-14 at the Pavese Park in Bellaria Igea Marina.
Lineups for the previous four editions of the festival included international acts such as Rise Against, Dropkick Murphys and Bad Religion.
