NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — Are the Rolling Stones planning to headline the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival next year? As of yet, there’s no official announcement, but there’s no shortage of rumors that the Stones are planning to perform at the 50th anniversary of the festival.

Mick Jagger himself threw fuel on the fires of speculation on Monday when he released a song via social media touting the dates of the band’s upcoming “No Filter” dates for the U.S.

As the New Orleans Times-Picayune pointed out, the lyrics for Jagger’s song include a list of the band’s U.S. tour stops, and one of the cities he included is New Orleans, which was definitely not on the officially announced itinerary.

Jagger’s itinerary in the song seems to follow the dates loud out in the tour announcement and the New Orleans date, if true, fits in between the band’s April 28th performance in Houston and their May 7th show in Glendale.

Further compounding the rumors are some changes to the festival’s Brass Pass program. According to the Times-Picayune, the passes, which are sold by local radio station WWOZ and retail for $600, allow unlimited entry to the Spring music fest.

However, on November 9th, WWOZ updated the terms of the Brass Pass to exclude entry May 2nd, leading many to speculate that the Stones might be planning to perform at the festival on that date, which also happens to line up quite neatly with Jagger’s lyrical itinerary.

All signs point to yes, but we’ll have to wait and see.
