LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — After a record-breaking debut in China last week, Warner Bros. Aquaman again topped the worldwide box office, earning $126.4M on approximately 43,115 screens.

The weekend’s take pushes Aquaman north of the $250 million mark ahead of its scheduled North American opening on Christmas week, according to data compiled by comScore.

Another superhero movie, Sony’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse took the number 2 spot, both in North American theaters, where it opened to $35.4M and worldwide, where it raked in $56.4M during its first weekend.
