LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — On Monday, the United Talent Agency revealed that they’ve bolstered their comedy touring department with the addition of veteran talent rep Mark Gordon.
According to UTA, Gordon will focus on booking clients for the college market but will oversee other major territories in the U.S. as well.
Gordon will be based out of UTA’s Los Angeles offices until March 2019 when he plans to permanently make the jump to the East Coast, where he will be based out of UTA’s New York offices.
“We’ve had an exceptional year in Comedy Touring, from breaking new acts to developing established talent, and we’re excited to continue that momentum in 2019,” said Nick Nuciforo, UTA’s Head of Comedy Touring. “Mark will be a great asset to this growth, bringing his valuable experience in the college and crossover space.”
Gordon comes to his new role after a five-year stint in the Comedy Touring department at Creative Artist Agency. While there, he focused on the college market and developing live opportunities for crossover talent.
“Nick and his team have built an incredible department and a market-leading business in Comedy Touring. I’m looking forward to working with the group and building new opportunities for UTA,” Gordon said.
