LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Longtime Knitting Factory Entertainment President Mark Dinerstein has exited the company.

Dinerstein spent more than a decade at KFE, joining the promoter and venue management company as a talent buyer in 2006 and rising through the ranks before assuming the role of president in 2014.

During his tenure at the company, KFE expanded its operations in several key markets, including Nashville and the Pacific Northwest where they recently formed a strategic partnership with CMoore Entertainment.

As well, last year KFE signed exclusive booking deals with the Criterion in Oklahoma City, OK and the yet-to-open Elevation 27 in Virginia Beach, VA and broke ground on a new shed in Missoula in partnership with Big Sky Brewing Company.

He previously did a stint as a talent buyer for Live Nation at their Houston office.

A representative for KFE confirmed to CelebrityAccess that Dinerstein had left his position with the company, but declined further comment.

In a statement to CelebrityAccess, Dinerstein said:

“After 13 amazing years, I am moving on from Knitting Factory Presents. Thanks to all my friends and colleagues who have been so supportive. I am so proud of what has been built and look forward to watching Knitting Factory grow for years to come. Looking forward to sharing news about my next adventure.”

This is a breaking story, check back for updates.
