Ticketfly And Crowdtorch End Dispute

SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess) Two former ticketing companies, Ticketfly and Crowdtorch, have settled their lawsuit, according to Amplify magazine.

Ticketfly reportedly filed a request for dismissal of its lawsuit against Crowdtorch last month, according to the Amplify. Ticketfly filed a lawsuit against Crowdtorch for allegedly poaching a client. Ticketfly has since been absorbed by Eventbrite and Crowdtorch was absorbed by Vendini. The case has been in the court system since 2014.

Ticketfly’s attorney had accused club owner Jason Perkins of reneging on an exclusive ticketing deal, accepting a $110,000 advance to renew his contract in 2014 but found out that other companies like Crowdtorch would be willing to pay up to four times that amount. Perkins, who is apparently now living in Israel, turned around and signed with Crowdtorch for $500,000, according to Amplify.
