LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) –Dave Grohl, frontman for the Foo Fighters, cadged a beer during a performance and managed to take a spill from the stage for his trouble.
Grohl and the Foos were performing at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas when the incident occurred
In a video posted to Instagram by a fan, Grohl, during the performance steps off the stage onto what appears to be a bar, where he asks someone off camera for what turns out to be a beer.
Grohl then cleverly, or not so cleverly, positions the beer can on top of a nearby speaker so that he can sip from it while he continues to play guitar, but only manages to knock the beer over, inundating the piece of audio equipment.
Then, with his original plan foiled, he just grabs the can and drains it before attempting to jump back onto the stage. It’s at this point where he loses his footing and topples into the crowd, where some of the security team attempt to break his fall.
Fortunately, Grohl did not appear to be injured in the incident and he returned to stage to continue the song.
Grohl is no stranger to falling off stage though and in 2015, he fell off a 12-foot high stage while performing in Sweden and broke his leg.
