LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Virtual reality music platform MelodyVR has signed a new content creation and distribution agreement with Kobalt’s AWAL.
The deal is intended to facilitate the creation and distribution of virtual reality content featuring AWAL artists including Lauv, Tom Misch, The Wombats, The Kooks, deadmau5, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and more.
The firm also extended its existing agreement with Warner Music Inc. and Warner Music International Services Ltd., enhancing its distribution capabilities with respect to the labels content library.
MelodyVR has worked with hundreds of big name artists since its 2018 launch including Liam Payne, Post Malone, The Chainsmokers, Niall Horan and Bebe Rexha.
