ZURICH, Switzerland (CelebrityAccess) Ticketmaster Switzerland has announced an exclusive partnership with Estivale Open Air Festival, a rock music festival held in Estavayer-Le-Lac, Switzerland.
Ticketmaster will provide “state-of-the-art” technology for the festival’s ticketing requirements in the lead up, and throughout the six-day festival, according to a statement.
More than 40,000 rock fans visit the lakeside festival every year. The festival has hosted acts like Beth Ditto, Patti Smith and Ms Lauryn Hill as well as Swiss acts.
Nicolas Bally,Director of the Estivale Open Air, said: “This partnership with Ticketmaster Switzerland enables us as a medium-sized festival to access the best ticketing solutions, otherwise only available to large players. The Ticketmaster team will provide our fans a superior level of service, and the support we need to strengthen our position in the market.”

The partnership will see Ticketmaster Switzerland expand its business in the French-speaking part of Switzerland; it is already the primary ticketing company for Openair Frauenfeld, Europe’s largest hip-hop festival.
