MEXICO CITY (CelebrityAccess) — Producers of Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Mexico announced that the sixth edition of the music festival will be live streamed for the first time this year via the LiveXLive platform.
In addition to live streaming select performances from the fest, LiveXLive’s LiveZone, a hosted on-site live newsroom and broadcast studio, will provide music news, commentary, festival updates, artist interviews and content from backstage.
The festival is scheduled to take place on February 23rd and 24th at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City with a lineup that includes more than 120 artists such as Alesso, Alison Wonderland, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Gryffin, Kygo, Skrillex, and W&W.
The lineup also includes established up-and-coming Latin American EDM artists such as Flor Capistran, Jessica Audiffred, Los Dutis, Mariana BO, and Nortec Collective.
The festival features six stages of music, art installations, full-scale carnival rides, and roaming art cars.
The live streams can be accessed via Insomniac’s official YouTube channel, as well as through LiveXLive’s mobile and OTT apps for iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV. The stream will also appear on LiveXLive’s Facebook page and Twitch channel, with an audio stream available on Slacker. Viewers in Mexico can access the stream through the EDC Mexico Facebook page.
