Bruce Hornsby Announces New Album, Tour

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Bruce Hornsby is expected to make an album, filled with special guests, called Absolute Zero that will follow with a spring tour.

The album, a followup to 2016’s Rehab Reunion, features contributions from Justin Vernon, Sean Carey, Blake Mills, yMusic and others, and is influenced by work with filmmaker Spike Lee, a collaboration that began in 1992 and continued last year with Hornsby’s work on the Lee’s Academy Award-nominated “BlacKKKlansman.”

Hornsby has also cited authors Don DeLillo and David Foster Wallace as inspirations “both in spirit and memory, function collectively as a homage to fiction writing that, while often poetic, takes not prisoners,” according to a statement.
