FRANCE (CelebrityAccess) Nicki Minaj had to cancel the second of two European shows because of technical issues but that didn’t stop some fans in the building from having some fun with it and chanting “Cardi B” as they exited.
Minaj was expected to play Bordeaux, France, Saturday night but had to pull the plug at the last second. Or, actually, the venue didn’t apparently have enough plugs for her show to run in the first place. She explained, politely, in a social media post that this was the second of two venues she never played at before and the building explained to her before the show that she couldn’t perform because it couldn’t host the electrical requirements.
“They didn’t tell us this three hours before the show as opposed to once we did soundcheck that it was fine,” she said, adding that it’s not in her best interest to “lose money” and “agitate my fans.”
However, that didn’t stop some fans from chanting the name of her rival.
