NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) – The Country Music Association has announced Jerry Bradley, Brooks & Dunn and Ray Stevens as the 2019 inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Bradley, a former RCA Records executive known for helping to shape the careers of country greats such as Ronnie Milsap, Dolly Parton, Jerry Reed, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Jessi Colter, among others, was inducted in the “Non-Performer” category, which is awarded every third year in rotation with the “Recording and/or Touring Musician” and “Songwriter” categories.

Country superstars Brooks & Dunn, who have over the course of their career secured some 23 chart-topping singles making them the best selling duo in country music history, were inducted in the “Modern Era Artist” category.

Stevens, who is well known for combining comedy with country music and is renowned for recording both novelties like “The Streak” and serious fare such as “Everything Is Beautiful,” was inducted in the “Veterans Era Artist” category.

A formal induction ceremony for Bradley, Brooks & Dunn and Stevens will take place at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in the CMA Theater later this year.

Hall of Fame members are elected annually by an anonymous panel of industry leaders chosen by the Country Music Association. CMA created the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1961 to recognize noteworthy individuals for their outstanding contributions to the format with country music’s highest honor.
