GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (CelebrityAccess) The Grand Rapids, Mich., venue 20 Monroe Live had to handle a scary situation last night when a report of shots fired occurred at a nearby parking garage.

Grand Rapids Police responded to the report around 10 p.m. Tuesday and found a parked vehicle damaged but no suspect nor victim, according to WOOD-TV News. About 40 minutes later, a conce3aled pistol license holder walked into GRPD headquarters admitting to the shooting, saying that someone in a passing vehicle pointed a gun at him and he fired in self-defense.

Down the street, a concert was still in progress at 20 Monroe Live, which has concerts on the books for acts like The Cult and Papa Roach. Amber Stokosa, marketing manager for the venue, said hundreds of people were attending the show, featuring Lil Baby plus City Girls, Blueface and others, when the shots were fired. Stokosa said the venue notified everyone standing near the building and brought them inside.

She added that security staff guided guests away from the scene when the concert ended at 10:30 p.m.  Some concertgoers said they were told by security to go out through an emergency exit.
