WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (CelebrityAccess) The Black Keys have pulled out of the Woodstock celebration, to take place in Watkins Glen, N.Y., Aug. 15-18, citing an unnamed scheduling conflict.

”Due to a scheduling conflict, The Black Keys will unfortunately need to cancel their set at Woodstock,” the band said in a statement. “The band wants to let fans know as soon as possible and before tickets go on sale.”

The event, marking the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock festival, expects to have headliners like Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z and Chance The Rapper, plus acts like John Fogerty, Dad and Company, and Santana.

The Black Keys are expected to kick off their Let’s Rock Tour in September, after an appearance at Las Vegas’ Life Is Beautiful, with Modest Mouse, with support from Jessy Wilson, Shannon & The Clams, and repeat repeat on select dates.

The duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney haven’t released an album since 2014 but recently dropped the single “Lo/Hi.”
