PHOENIX, Ore. (CelebrityAccess) Multiple law enformencement agencies recently descended upon the Phoenix, Ore., home of original Mouseketter Dennis Day, who has been missing since July 2018.

A body was found Thursday at 510 Pine st., according to a press release from the Oregon State Police. Day, a longtime Oregon resident, has been missing since July, according to the Medford Mail Tribune. Day was a Mouseketeer during the 1956-57 seasons of Disney’s “Mickey Mouse Club” television show.

The remains have yet to be identified, according to police, who say the Medford Assault and Death Investigation Unit are investigating.

“2 dogs and a drone search for my Uncle Dennis will be starting today at 2 p.m.,” Day’s niece Denise Norris posted on a Facebook group Thursday. “We are asking for LOTS of prayers that he will be found. We need this nightmare to end!”

Day’s disappearance apparently went unnoticed for months, even by his loved ones, but family members have been involved since December.

Police were apparently hampered because Day had reclusive tendencies and his husband had memory problems, which made it difficult for police to get a physical description of the former actor.

The Facebook page “Help Us Find Dennis Day!” was a worldwide affair, created by Sylvia McRae of Australia and Rosanne Reynolds of Oakland, Calif., and the page had 549 members as of Friday, according to the Mail Tribune. The paper said it was alerted to the situation in December because of a press release from the group.
