PHILADELPHIA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Glasgow band The 1990s has announced that they are preparing a tour of the United States this fall.
Composed of ex-patriots from another Glasgow band, The Yummy Fur and part of the same ferment that spawned acts like Franz Ferdinand, the 1990s have been making a name for themselves. Signed to Rough Trade, the group is comprised of Jackie McKeown – guitar/vocals, Michael McGaughrin vocals and drums and
Jamie McMorrow on the bass, the band has had a busy summer, working in a support role for other bands like Babyshambles and Franz Ferdinand.
Their first album, Cookies dropped in May of this year and has been getting some positive attention from the music press.
