The 2001 VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards will be presented October 23 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, John Mellancamp, India Aire, Mariah Carey, Macy Gray and Sugar Ray will perform while Hilary Swank, Nelly Furtado, Moby, Gwyneth Paltrow, Elton John, Destiny's Child, Jim Carrey, Chris Kattan, Tracy Morgan, Gwen Stefani, Salma Hayek, Angie Harmon, Jason Sehorn, Lil' Kim, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Renee Zellweger, Christian Slater, Gisele Bundchen, Chris Noth, Courtney Love, Kathy Griffin and Josh Hartnett will also appear.
In addition, top designers Kenneth Cole, Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Kate Spade and Vera Wang will make appearances.
"VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards" nominees for the category of "Visionary Video" were selected online by visitors to VH1.com and are: U2 ("Beautiful Day"), Radiohead ("Knives Out"), Fatboy Slim ("Weapon of Choice"), Aerosmith ("Jaded"), Everclear ("AM Radio"), Moby/Gwen Stefani ("Southside") and Dave Matthews Band ("I Did It").
