28 Injured In Nightclub Shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (CelebrityAccess) — A shooting in a Little Rock, Ark., nightclub has left at least 28 people injured, including one in critical condition.

Little Rock Police Chief Kenton Buckner told CBS-affiliate KTHV that gunfire broke out at the Power Ultra Lounge, shortly after 2:30 AM and appears to have been the result of a "dispute [that] broke out between people inside."

"Apparently when the shooting occurred, people started jumping out windows to escape, landing on awnings below," KUAR's Michael Hibblen reported. "So, it would seem that at least some of the injuries were related to the broken glass and the falls."

The incident left 25 people with gunshot injuries, and 3 people with other injuries sustained in the aftermath. One person was listed in critical condition but has since been stabilized, police said.

Police also said that at least some of the 25 shooting victims were juveniles.
