SAN JOSE (CelebrityAccess) — Five people were injured in a shooting on Sunday at a San Jose nightclub where Chris Brown was making an appearance.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, the shooting happened at the Fiesta nightclub on Monterey Street and Rancho Drive, where Brown was at the club for a “Capricorn Bash” birthday party featuring DJS from local radio station KMEL. Video shows Brown on stage when the shooting started, with security personal quickly ushering him to safety.
Paramedics subsequently transported for club-goers to the hospital for gunshot related injuries, most of whm were were shot in the arms or legs, the Mercury News said. A 5th victim turned up at an area hospital later. Police reportedly detained several individuals in connection with the violence.
Brown, who is preparing for a major tour, later tweeted that he was unhurt. – Staff Writers
