A$AP Mob Sued By Stage Manager

AUSTIN, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Harlem rappers A$AP Mob has been hit with a lawsuit from a stage manager who claims he was injured by the group in an on-stage brawl at SXSW in 2011.

In the suit, obtained by Courthouse News, stage manager Anthony Montalbano alleges that he went on stage to rescue gear after A$AP Mob started destroying the stage but was "grabbed by the defendants and continuously punched in the face and head for several minutes and said defendants hit plaintiff in the head with a microphone."

"[The] Plaintiff was covered in blood and sustained serious and lasting injuries, including but not limited to an open scalp wound, concussion, abrasions, lacerations and pain in his head, neck, back, knees and ribs," the complaint read.

After the fight, Montalbano was taken to a local hospital where he recieved ten stitches to treat a headwound.

Defendants named in the suit include A$AP Mob, Sony Music Entertainment and Fader Media Network, the event's promoter. Montalbo is seeking compensatory and punitive damages. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
