AC/DC Signs Up For Ticketmaster's Paperless Tix System

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AC/DC has announced that they will be the latest band to use Ticketmaster's new Paperless Ticket system for their forthcoming "Black Ice" world tour.

Up to three thousand seats at each show will be set aside for use in this system, thus helping the band to ensure that fan club members and fans will be able to secure seats at face. Fans using the new system will be able to avoid will-call lines, leaving them ample time to enjoy the queue to get into the venue.

The band is also making copies of their latest studio album "Black Ice" available for pre-order by ticket purchasers ahead of its October 20th release date

"Our Paperless Ticket gives AC/DC fan club members and fans who get access to great seats an easy and convenient way to see the 'Black Ice' show," said David Marcus, Ticketmaster's senior vice president, music. "All it takes is a single swipe of a credit card at the door of the venue and a photo ID check by door staff for a quick, secure, and simple way to experience AC/DC live. The world waited a long time for this tour, and Ticketmaster is working with its venue clients to make it more fan-friendly." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
