NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — AEG's Goldenvoice, the promoter behind the hugely successful Coachella festival, may be eyeing New York for a new festival that could take place as early as next summer.
According to the New York Daily News, AEG are reportedly considering Corona Park in the Queens neighborhood of Flushing Meadows for a new festival that has provisionally been dubbed Panorama.
The Daily News said that AEG has already started recruiting acts for the festival, which may take place in June, just two weeks after NYC's other music festival Governor's Ball, which is run by indie promoter Founders Entertainment.
Panorama wouldn't be AEG's first foray into the New York Festival scene. In 2008, they staged the short-lived All Points West festival in Liberty State Park in New Jersey. The festival only ran for 2 years. – Staff Writers
