AEG Facilities Moves Into Moscow

MOSCOW, Russia (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG Facilities has pacted with Moscow's VTB Arena to operate VTB Arena park, the new sports and entertainment development planned in Petrovsky Park near the center of Moscow.

The deal, which goes into effect immediately, will include offering input on design for the venue, and will assist VTB Arena with developing business practices, marketing and sponsorship deals as the venue nears its planned 2016 opening.

The complex will include a 45,000-seat soccer stadium, future home to the Dynamo Moscow Football Club and a 2018 FIFA World Cup 2122 host venue, plus a 12,000-seat arena for the Continental Hockey League's and Russian Basketball Federation's Dynamo clubs.

"This is a landmark agreement for AEG Facilities, and we're thrilled to be part of this iconic project that will dramatically transform the landscape of Eastern Europe," said Bob Newman, Chief Operating Officer, AEG Facilities. "This development will be the first of its kind in the region, and we see great potential and opportunity for success in Moscow's dynamic marketplace." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
