NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — With an increasing competitive New York market, AEG Facilities announced that they were opening a new office in the market and named long-time AEG executive and respected industry veteran Richard Krezwick to oversee the expansion.
For his new gig, Krezwick, who will relocate from AEG’s London office where he oversaw European arena and stadium operations, and will lead AEG Facilities’ Manhattan office and oversee East Coast operations, business development, marketing, and content development for AEG Facilities’ venues within the region while continuing his oversight of AEG Facilities European venues.
“Rich has done an outstanding job with our facilities in Europe so when we took a strategic look at how we further strengthen our infrastructure and continue to deliver positive results for our partners, it was obvious that opening an east coast office with Rich at the helm was the answer,” said Bob Newman, President, AEG Facilities. “We are fortunate to have an industry veteran like Rich on our team.”
Krezwick first joined AEG in 2006 for a three-year tenure before he took a five-year hiatus until 2014. Upon his return, Krezwick was based in London and was responsible for more than a dozen AEG-affiliated arenas and stadiums in London, Berlin, Hamburg, Stockholm and other European cities.
His background in facilities management includes a 12-year stint before spending 10 years with Delaware North as TD Garden President & CEO and Executive Vice President for the Boston Bruins. He also spent four years as the President of Devils Arena Entertainment for the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.
